Guidelines for Sponsors and Visiting Vendors
Thank you for your sponsorship of the Monroe Farmers Market. Your donation helps us to provide entertainment, children's programs and additional support of the Market through advertising and promotions.
The market runs every Friday typically from the 3rd week of June – 3rd week of October from 3:00PM to 6:00PM on the Monroe Town Green at 7 Fan Hill Road, just in front of Town Hall.
We are open rain or shine and only close due to hazardous weather. Please let us know in advance if you can’t attend your scheduled date/s, and we will be happy to reschedule your appearance at the Market.
Arriving For Your Visit
When you arrive at the Market, please find a volunteer in a green shirt. They will show you to your setup location. We have a number of rotating sponsors and guests, and can’t guarantee placement in the same spot each visit. Be sure to let them know if you need access to an electrical outlet and you’ll be placed near the gazebo if space is available.
Your setup must be complete by 2:30PM. Please plan to arrive as close to 2:00PM as you can so that you have time to unload and move your vehicle to a designated parking area.
Parking
Parking spaces directly adjacent to the green are reserved for customers only. Occupying spaces reserved for customers has a direct and adverse affect on vendor sales. There is ample parking for sponsors, guests and vendors behind the Monroe Congregational Church, on the far side of the Masonic Lodge, and behind the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library. Any volunteer in a green farmers market shirt can point you in the right direction.

Market Hours
The market does not open until 3:00PM and it officially closes at 6:00PM. You must be set up for this entire time and plan to leave the green when the Market closes at 6:00PM. If you need to leave prior to close, find a market volunteer who can assist you in walking your setup to the edge of the green as no vehicles are allowed to be driving on the Green during the market.
If you are selling a product at the market, please be aware that bagging or selling before the official open of the market at 3:00PM is strictly prohibited. Selling before the start of the market encourages customers to be on the green early. This not only creates an unfair advantage for vendors who are not completely set up and ready to sell, but it poses a safety hazard for customers as vehicles may still be moving around on the green. If you are found to be selling before the official open, you will be asked to stop immediately.
Promoting Your Attendance
If you haven't done so already, be sure to send us a high-quality copy of your logo (JPG, SVG or PNG with transparency) so that we can add it to our newsletter. If you have any promotional images or marketing materials you’d like to share ahead of your visit, we can use them to advertise you on social media. Please feel free to send those items along as well.
Kindly share links to your website and social media channels so that we can cross-promote you when we post.
Please feel free to publicize your visits to the market on your own social media channels and be sure to tag us! Links to our social media properties can be found below in the footer of this page.
If you have any additional questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch.
We are grateful for your support and look forward to seeing you this season!
