Guidelines for Sponsors and Visiting Vendors
Thank you for visiting the Monroe Farmers Market. We hope you enjoy your visit as well as the opportunity to directly connect with our customer base.
The market runs every Friday typically from the 3rd week of June – 3rd week of October from 3:00PM to 6:00PM on the Monroe Town Green at 7 Fan Hill Road, just in front of Town Hall.
We are open rain or shine and only close due to hazardous weather. Please let us know in advance if you can’t attend your scheduled date/s, and we will be happy to reschedule your appearance at the Market.
Arriving For Your Visit
When you arrive at the Market, please find a volunteer in an MFM logo green shirt. They will show you to your setup location. Be sure to let them know if you need access to an electrical outlet and you’ll be placed near the gazebo if space is available. We have a number of rotating sponsors and guests, and can’t guarantee placement in the same spot each visit.
Please plan to arrive as close to 2:00PM as you can so that you have time to unload and move your vehicle to a designated parking area as no vehicles are allowed on the Green after 2:30.
Parking
Parking spaces directly adjacent to the green are reserved for customers only. Occupying spaces reserved for customers has a direct and adverse affect on vendor sales. There is ample parking for sponsors, guests and vendors behind the Monroe Congregational Church, on the far side of the Masonic Lodge, and behind the Edith Wheeler Memorial Library.

Market Hours
The Market opens at 3:00PM and it officially closes at 6:00PM. We ask that you remain set up for this entire time, but if you need to leave prior to close, please find a market volunteer who can assist you in walking your setup to the edge of the Green as no vehicles are allowed to be driving on the Green during the market.
If you are selling a product at the Market, bagging or selling before the official open of the market at 3:00PM is strictly prohibited. Selling before the start of the market encourages customers to be on the Green early which poses a safety hazard for customers as vehicles may still be moving around.
Promoting Your Attendance
If you haven't done so already, be sure to send us a high-quality copy of your logo (JPG, SVG or PNG with transparency) so that we can add it to our newsletter. If you have any promotional images or marketing materials you’d like to share ahead of your visit, we can use them to advertise you on social media.
